Vinacafe Gold Original Coffee – 24 sachets/ 480g
Vinacafé has been making instant coffee in Vietnam since 1969 and Gold Original is their everyday staple. Robusta and Arabica blend, three-in-one format with creamy milk powder already in the sachet. The kind of coffee that’s been on Vietnamese breakfast tables for decades, not some recent relaunch.
Composition:
Instant coffee powder, sugar, vegetable cream powder (glucose syrup, vegetable oil, milk protein, stabilizers, emulsifiers, anti-caking agents, salt, food coloring).
Taste:
Strong Robusta base with a bit of Arabica to smooth it out. Noticably bitter with a sweet milky finish, slight astringency at the end. Not subtle, not mild. This is Vietnamese coffee.
How to prepare:
- Hot: Put 1 sachet into a cup, add 80ml of hot water stir and drink.
- Iced (Vietnamese style): Use 2 sachets, only 60ml of hot water, stir until disolved, then pour over ice.
- Adjust the amount of water to taste, some people go stronger, some lighter.
