Phosphalugel – Phosphalugel is an antacid that reduces stomach acidity and is used to treat pain, burning, and discomfort in the stomach or esophagus – 1 box 26 sachets.

Indications:

• Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum;
• Gastritis with high acidity;
• Heartburn;
• Chronic colitis;
• Prevention and treatment of digestive disorders caused by the use of various drugs;
• Poisoning;

Composition:

Each 20 g package contains the main ingredients such as:

Active ingredient: 20% colloidal aluminum phosphate gel: 12.380 g.
Excipients: calcium sulfate dihydrate, pectin, 800 agar, orange flavor, potassium sorbate, sorbitol solution (not crystalline), just enough purified water to form a 20 g sachet.

Dosage Phosphalugel:

Inside, a single dose for adults – 1-2 sachets 2-3 times a day. The regimen depends on the nature of the disease: with an ulcer – 1-2 hours after a meal and immediately after the onset of pain, with colitis – in the morning on an empty stomach and at night, with gastritis – before meals. If in the intervals between doses pains resume, then taking the drug must be repeated. The drug can be taken neat or diluted in half a glass of water.

Contraindications for use:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Use during pregnancy and children
With caution during pregnancy and lactation.
Severe kidney disease.

Side effects:
Constipation, especially in the elderly and bedridden patients.
